Internal dilution of non-pegmatite material was limited to intervals of less than 5 m. No specific grade cap or lower cut-offs were used during grade and width calculations. All intervals are reported as core widths and mineralized intervals in all the holes drilled thus far are not representative of the true width as the modelled pegmatite zones are being refined with every additional hole. The same side of the core was sampled to maintain representativeness. All drill core samples were shipped to SGS Canada's preparation facility in Val D'Or, Quebec, for standard sample preparation (code PRP92) which includes drying at 105°C, crushing to 90% passing 2 mm, riffle split 500 g, and pulverize 85% passing 75 microns. The pulps are then shipped by air to SGS Canada's laboratory in Burnaby, BC, where the samples are homogenized and subsequently analyzed for multi-element (including Li and Ta) using sodium peroxide fusion with ICP-AES/MS finish (code GE_ICM91A50). (SeaPRwire) - HONG KONG, 16 Dis 2024 — Ahli biologi dari Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) telah menemui dua spesies kerang tingkap baru di Mai Po, Hong Kong dan di Laut China Selatan. Juga dikenali sebagai tiram tingkap atau cangkerang capiz, kerang tingkap adalah sekumpulan kecil bivalvia air masin yang tergolong dalam genus Placuna di bawah keluarga Placunidae. Penemuan mereka menjadikan jumlah spesies dalam genus ini daripada lima kepada tujuh di seluruh dunia. Pasukan penyelidikan HKBU, yang diketuai oleh Profesor Qiu Jianwen, Profesor Jabatan Biologi di HKBU, telah menamakan spesies baru itu Placuna aestuaria dan Placuna vitream. Spesies kerang tingkap baru ditemui di Hong Kong Pasukan HKBU telah meninjau fauna epibenthik di perairan Pulau Lantau pada April 2022 dan mengkaji ubur-ubur kotak, yang kemudiannya disahkan sebagai spesies baru, di Rizab Alam Mai Po pada Julai 2023. Semasa kajian ini, pasukan itu telah mengumpul beberapa subfosil genus Placuna. Menurut kesusasteraan, satu-satunya spesies genus Placuna yang direkodkan di Hong Kong ialah spesies tropika Placuna placenta. Selepas perbandingan yang teliti, ahli biologi di HKBU mendapati bahawa spesimen yang dikumpulkan dari Hong Kong berbeza dalam ciri-ciri seperti struktur engsel dan aurikul daripada Placuna placenta.
