Redmi unveiled its first wearable, the Redmi Band, on 3 April 2020. The device features sports and health tracking modes, a large battery capacity, and a competitive price tag.
The new Band features a 1.08-inch rectangular colour display, which somewhat resembles Honor and Realme fitness trackers. Redmi claims that its battery can run for 14-days on a full charge, and includes direct USB charging to top-up its power.
The smartband is equipped with 5 sports modes, as well as heart rate and sleep monitoring functions for health tracking. Aside from the details already mentioned, Redmi did not reveal further information on the Band’s full specifications or features.
The Redmi Band will be released in China on 9 April and is priced at only CNY99 (~RM60). The devices comes in a choice of four different coloured straps including orange, olive green, blue, and black. The company has not revealed if the product will be available globally at this time.
