MySejahtera Releases Official Explanation For “Verified” Tag In App

Earlier yesterday, we reported about the most recent MySejahtera build suddenly receiving a “Verified” badge right next to their name and identification number, with no explanation as to what the badge was for. Up until now, that is.

The app’s developer took to Twitter less than an hour ago to provide an official explanation over the addition of the “Verified” status. According to the official statement, the new status badge is meant as a form of validity; so long as you are denoted as “Verified” and the badge blue, users of the app should be able to gain access to their vaccination certificates. For those where badges are red, they will be unable to see their certificates.

To that end, the app strongly recommends that users quickly update their details on MySejahtera, if only to gain full access to your digital vaccine certificates on the app. After all, the last thing you want is to be denied entrance by outlets and restaurants that insist that you present proof of vaccination before they even consider letting you in.
