Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Pushed To 2023

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

Rocksteady Studios is working on Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, which was officially revealed during DC Fandome 2020. At the time, the developer said that it was scheduled for release some time in 2022. Now though, studio co-founder Sefton Hill has confirmed on Twitter that the game will be delayed to spring 2023, or between late March and late June.

The reason for the delay is pretty much the same as any other video game delay. Hill says that the studio needs the extra time to make Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League the best game the studio can. He also acknowledges that the delay is frustrating for fans who are waiting for the game.

When Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was first revealed, the game’s premise looked to be an interesting one. The eponymous squad consisting of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark were tasked to kill the Justice League. Since then, more story elements have been revealed, including the involvement of Brainiac and his apparent brainwashing of some Justice League members like Superman and The Flash.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be on PC, PS5 as well as Xbox Series X and S when it gets released. Which, with this delay, is a whole year from now at its earliest.
