PS5 Screenshot Sharing From Mobile App Is Now Live In Malaysia

PS5 auto-upload

Late last month, PlayStation announced that its mobile app will have the ability to access your PS5 screenshots. At the time, it was announced that Japan and Canada will get the feature first, followed by the rest of the American continent. But it looks like we in Malaysia can also start using it now.

As a quick refresher, whenever you take a screenshot on your PS5, it gets automatically uploaded to the cloud for the PS app to access. The same also happens to Full HD clips that are of three minutes or less. Once in the cloud, you can then share them from the app to a social media platform of your choice. Or you can download them from the cloud to your phone.

Though there are limitations to the feature. One is that once enabled, the process is automatic, and you cannot manually choose what is uploaded to this specific cloud. And you’ll only have 14 days to do what you need to with them.

And finally, it’s not a PS Plus exclusive feature. So as long as you have a PS5, all you need to make use of this feature is the PS mobile app on your mobile device.
